Have the best of both worlds by staying in an unspoiled, natural setting, avoiding crowds and traffic in the highly developed "tourist centers", and being conveniently situated for exploring the entire island. An ideal location -- whether you are heading out to Hana, taking a trip to "town", or simply enjoying the tropical beauty and serenity of the North Shore -- the "real" Maui.

The air-conditioned Tradewinds Suite is the ground level of your hosts' two-story pole house. This spacious studio is ideal for a couple, but it can also sleep 2 children between the age of 7 and 12.. It is fully airconditioned, has a kitchenette, with portable cooking appliances on a covered lanai. Appliances include a portable gas cooktop, microwave, toaster, rice cooker and coffee maker.
Bed and bath linen is provided. An iron and ironing board, and hair dryer are supplied. There is no charge for using the laundry facilities (including supplies). You will be provided with a selection of regular and herbal teas as well as coffee beans from Maui Coffee Roasters and a coffee grinder. You are also welcome to choose from our library of books and guides about Maui, and CD's -- including Hawaiian slack key guitar. Your entertainment system offers Dish Satellite TV, with free movie channels, music channels and Netflix. WiFi internet access, local and long-distance telephone calls to the U.S. and Canada are all complimentary.
The bath has a sauna that can be used with dry heat or steam.
There is an adjoining laundry room with all supplies provided.
Outside your door is a tropical garden with exotic plants and flowers. Follow the meandering path to your private Jacuzzi. Relax, luxuriate in the outdoor shower, or enjoy a BBQ when the evening turns cool.
