Hale Mele Mele is one of Puako’s original beach cottages lovingly restored, refreshed and redecorated to feel like home-away-from-home. Beautiful quartz countertops and open shelving with colorful dishware complete the charm. The air-conditioned sitting room/dining area just off the kitchen provides a hang-out for friends or family to socialize during meal prep. Conveniently located off the kitchen, is the home’s full bathroom, with a charming and private indoor/outdoor shower accessible from the house or the carport; great for rinsing off salt, sand and sunscreen after a day in the ocean. Where else but the tropics can you bathe with nature year round?

  Great home, great yard, private, everything we needed and very close to Puako General Store for great sandwiches, across the street from beach access (best to walk and enjoy in morning at low tide- lots of turtles hanging out) and relatively central to a variety of places by car. Very close to Beach 69 & Hapuna Beach. Highly recommend.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hale mele mele. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a family of 4. Quick 2 minute walk to the beach every night for sundowners and sea turtles on the beach. The snorkeling at the end of the road is amazing - and a lot less crowded than close by beaches. Perfect launch point for the area and exploring. Highly recommend.

  We had a wonderful stay at this lovely and perfectly located home. We could not have asked for a better location, close to snorkeling, swimming beaches, and situated well for exploring other parts of the island. Our hosts checked in with us several times and were always easy to reach and accommodating. The home itself is well-stocked with essentials, very clean, has comfortable beds, is charmingly decorated, and the outdoor shower is like a spa! Overall, an incredible place to stay!
